    Introducing an eco-friendly and ethical way to stock up on your favorite scents from Nocturnal Designs! Pair these cute glass 'Skull Refresher Oil Vials' full of your scent of choice with our witchy goth diffusers and potpourri lines!
     
    While it was our every intention to make our skull diffusers a lovely multipurpose pairing for our potpourri line, we kept getting requests for a more traditional refresher oil. Most refresher oils come in throw-away vials that consumers rarely repurpose and reuse. To reduce waste we wanted to offer you a refresher oil in a unique skull vial design that aligns with our branding.
     
    Right now we are offering refresher oils in select well-selling scents in 10mL and 30mL and will expand our offerings based on customer feedback. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us requesting we offer a refresher oil in a particular scent you see elsewhere in our shop. We also love customer feedback on what types of scents you would like us to carry in the future! We love hearing from you! We try to offer fan-favorite scent dupes from our favorite home goods brands, unique unisex scents commonly used in spiritual practice, and some traditional all-around popular scents.
     
    The 10mL size is almost identical in size to our skull diffusers, sans the addition of crystals and dried botanicals. This is great if you're not sure you will be over the moon with a particular scent, but also do not want to run out any time soon, or perhaps you love many scents and want to collect them all!
     
    The 30mL size is for someone who knows what they want, is committed, and will have a subtle nervous breakdown if they run out! You will get many, many months of use out of this size skull refresher oil. 
     
    Yes, we offer them empty as well because we think they are that darn cute!
     
    Regardless of which size you choose, we will include a black tag adorned with our signature silver crescent moon charm labeled with the scent on the front so you know what you're about to experience when they arrive at your home! We tape the skulls closed so the cap stays 100% secure in transit to prevent leaking. Don't worry, the tape will not damage the black skull.

    ~*~ SCENTS ~*~
     
    1. Lord of Misrule *dupe scent - black pepper, warm vanilla, patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, & more. This dupe is very close to the OG, but perhaps a bit milder in patchouli or black pepper. 
    2. Breath of God *dupe scent - neroli, sandalwood, Virginia cedar, Amalfi lemon, melony citrus, rose, ylang-ylang, vetiver, grapefruit, black pepper & more. Very close to the OG.
    3. Snow Fairy *dupe scent - fresh berries, sweet vanilla bean, & soft musk with a bit of mint. More simply put if pink bubblegum & candy floss had a baby. Very close to the OG. 
    4. Egyptian Dragon - a warm blend of myrrh & patchouli, subtle floral notes of rose & jasmine with a base note of woodsy musk.
    5. Dragon's Blood - a tree resin mixture comprised of subtle fresh orange & fruity grape notes, sensual clove, & rose with a woody patchouli base. 
    6. Nag Champa - a complex scent best described as powdery, sweet & floral, with musk. Top notes of black currant, mandarin, & black pepper meet middle notes of orange blossom & precious florals, lingering with base notes of musk, patchouli, vanilla, & sandalwood. 
    7. Moonlight Path *dupe scent - floral notes of rose, jasmine, violet, tuberose, ylang-ylang, lily of the valley, lilac and lavender, with bergamot, mandarin leaf, and coriander. Base notes are sandalwood, vetiver, oakmoss, vanilla, patchouli, amber, and musk for an earthy compliment. 
    8. Wicked Spiced Green Apple - autumn spices comprised of ground cloves, cinnamon sticks, sunkissed oranges and warm vanilla cream coupling with tart green apple, and floral notes of violet, jasmine and rose. 
    9. Wicked Green Apple - tart green apple coupling with subtle floral notes of violet, jasmine and rose. Think crisp, clean with subtle floral. Great if you love green apple but want a bit of floral.
    10. Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin *dupe scent - a sweeter alternative to your traditional pumpkin spice or autumn harvest scent. It has a lovely cinnamon and vanilla based with delicious buttery sweet pumpkin. This dupe scent smells very similar to the BBW OG.
     
     
    We suggest reusing these lovely unique vials for:
     
    1. a travel-size facial oil to take with you on holiday.
    2. a body oil that you can stash anywhere your heart desires, such as atop your bathroom countertop for a unique gothic touch and conversation piece. 
    3. an anointing oil for all your sacred rituals.
    4. a hair oil complete with a dropper with precise measurements so you get the right amount of hair oil every time.
    5. an aromatherapy oil for those stressful moments in life when you need a pick-me-up and a smile. Like while stuck in rush hour traffic! 
     
    Get creative, don't throw these little skulls away! They want a home within your home!

    We have some sensitivities, and maybe you do too! So, we use top-quality essential and fragrance oils that are: 
    • Phthalate Free
    • Paraben Free
    • SLS + SLES Free
    • Vegan and Cruelty-Free (not tested on animals)
     
    Further, the small business we use is very transparent about any potential allergens, heavy metals, IFRA, Technical Data Specification, SDS, Proposition 65, Added Color Statement, Heavy Metals Statement, Animal Testing Statement, Irradiation Statement, Gluten Statement, Organic Suitability Statement, GMO Statement, Formaldehyde Statement, and/or BSE/TSE Statement.
     
    Disclaimer: Nocturnal Designs is not a healthcare professional, as such, we are not insinuating that essential and fragrance oils, crystals, or stones, will cure or treat any condition you may have. Please note that while our essential and fragrance oil blends have many application uses we have only tested our scents within our brand lines, therefore we do not know how they will perform in another diffuser or application of your choosing. If you plan to purchase a refresher oil for use in a body product please reach out so we can inform you if the scent you have chosen is safe for the skin as not all of our scents are. Further, while some are safe for the skin, they may require a tiny amount in a carrier oil or alternative base for a potent scent less they still cause skin irritation, this is because cinnamon and resinoids, for example, are naturally irritating to the skin as well as certain spices like ginger, or black pepper.

    • ~*~ Potpourri Use ~*~

       

      Deposit small amounts of oil on the larger and harder botanicals avoiding the softer botanicals like petals. It's best to put on disposable gloves and massage the oil into these harder botanicals but you can also give the potpourri mix a good stir or shake so the orris root fixative powder we use will soak up the oils as well!

       

      ~*~ Diffuser Use ~*~

       

      Carefully refill your diffuser to the top of the skull. You want to leave the top part empty so that the plastic cap/plug can fit back in nicely. Otherwise, the oil will overflow leaking out all over the place and no one wants that!

       

      ~*~ Cleaning Them~*~

       

      To clean our vials for reuse please gently handwash them and air dry. The dropper can be removed but do so carefully due to the dropper being glass. Do not place them in a dishwasher as they will fly around and could damage your dishes, or break altogether. Do not use an abrasive dish scrubber as this could damage the black coating on the black skull. With proper care, these vials can be reused many times!

    • Lord of Misrule, Breath of God, Snow Fairy, and Moonlight Path are trademarked scents by Lush Cosmetics and Bath and Body Works respectively. We, Nocturnal Designs, do not own these names or fragrances and we merely sell fragrances that are very similar to their original counterpart. The term 'dupe' is used to indicate this.
